Nursery (Infants - 2 years)
Children are welcome to attend the services. If you prefer, a nursery is provided for infants through 2 years from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The nursery is located in the church office near the Mira Mar entrance.
Our nursery prides itself on being a place where any child will be loved, held, and cared for while their family members spend time in worship. We have a ratio of 1 caregiver for every 4 children in the nursery, enabling us to give the time and energy needed to each child during their time with us!
All volunteers and staff members at First Church are heavily screened and must pass a strict background check.

Preschool (3 years - Kindergarten) and Elementary (1st - 5th grades)
Preschool and elementary-age children are invited to participate in classes while parents are in worship or in an adult class. Capable and dedicated teachers engage the students in Sunday School classes during the 9:45 and 11 a.m. services. The Sunday School classrooms are upstairs and accessible by the elevator or the stairs next to the church office.
Children’s Moment is held during our 9:45 and 11 a.m. services - except for the first Sunday of the month. Please sign your child in on the clipboard in the lobby as you enter for worship. Your child can sit with you or in the front with their classmates and teachers who will escort the children to their classrooms after Children’s Moment.

Children in middle and high school are invited to attend our worship services on Sunday mornings.
